Gerstlauer restraints ruin some good layouts

Started by OhioAirtime on Jun 19, 2026 10:10 AM

The layouts can be awesome but sometimes the comfort is just not there. Curious if its just me being picky.

People clown on clones but a good clone is better than a weird custom layout that does nothing.

Unpopular opinion but I would take a good family launch coaster over a rough looping coaster every day. Also sorry but that take is wild.

The ops can change the whole day too. A slow crew makes even a great coaster feel worse cause your already irritated.

I wish more parks bought Extreme Spinners but I bet capacity and cost scare them off.

Hard disagree. If a ride has no strong moment after the drop then I am not putting it top tier.

The Smiler is messy in a good way. I dont need it to be elegant, I need it to be weird.

I rode it in the back and it was way better than the front. Row matters more than people admit. I know folks wont like that but whatever.

Floorless trains made sense back then. Now they feel more like marketing, but I still enjoy the open feeling.

Nah, smooth doesnt automatically mean boring. I hear that all the time and it feels like people just want pain lol.

Wing coasters are vibes. Maybe not the strongest rides but they look insane from the midway.

This thread is getting spicy but honestly thats why I like forums more than comment sections.

Skip passes are worth it only when you traveled far. For my home park I just come back another day.

I think B&M hypers are comfort food coasters. Not always the best meal, but always a good one. Also sorry but that take is wild.
